The vineyard covers 30ha growing Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The site offers sunlight and rainfall to give a balance of acid and sugar in the fruit, an ideal climate for Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The name ‘Lake Cooper’ was chosen as our vineyard
overlooks Lake Cooper and was a very picturesque view
until the lake dried up in 2002. Hence our ”Dry Lake”
2002 vintage. Lake Cooper was known as "Paboinboolok" to
the local aboriginals meaning Shallow Sheet of Water. The Lake
started filling in 2010 and we we can once again enjoy our
picturesque views of a full Lake Cooper.
Our logo shows a Brolga, a
large crane with a featherless red head and grey crown. The
township of Corop is named after the peculiar cry of the
companion bird "Kor-Rop".
